Steve Gray has over twenty years of investigation experience and over seven
hundred hours of special training in accident reconstruction and other related
areas.
He attended the University of Montevallo in Alabama. Before bringing his
investigation skills to Alvis & Willingham, he worked for the U.S. Department of
Transportation, (NHTSA) National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and
(NASS) The National Accident Sampling System. During this time, Steve worked
with a team of investigators of traffic collisions with cases involving deaths
or serious injuries. Investigations also included air-bag and vehicle defects as
well as safety issues. He investigated over one thousand cases during this time
and received highly technical training in many areas of traffic accident
investigation as taught by the U.S. Department of Transportation, Northwestern
University, Texas A & M University, and numerous other agencies.
Steve also has many previous years of experience in the specialized area of
in-depth legal investigation for law firms. This includes all types of personal
injury, boating incidents, vehicle fires, industrial equipment related deaths
and injuries, just to name a few.
Steve’s training runs the gamut from basic accident investigation to in-depth
accident reconstruction with complete detailing of accident events.
